On Monday, February 14, Poole's will host a 3-course Valentine's Day dinner honoring the life of a tiny hero, Prince Liam the Brave. As this is a holiday intended to honor the spirit of love, it seems the right thing to do. Poole's diner will donate 100% of the profits from the Valentine's dinner to Liam's charity, Cookies for Kid's Cancer.

At age 6, just a handful of days ago, Liam Witt ("Prince Liam") lost his 4-year battle with cancer. However, over the course of four years, he was victorious in inspiring the world with his noble mission, his will to fight, and his angelic smile. Click here to learn more about Liam.
In addition to their commitment to Cookies for Kid's Cancer, Poole's has issued a challenge to the restaurant community to initiate a similar effort for Prince Liam, or whatever charitable endeavor they see fit. Fullsteam Brewery in Durham has accepted the challenge and will also donate 100% of their Valentine's Day profits to Prince Liam and Cookies for Kid's Cancer.
